SPIA Asia 2017 - Asia’s Sports Industry Awards and Conference
Bangkok, 6-7 November 2017

With just over six weeks to go, the deadline is approaching for entry submissions for the 3rd edition of SPIA Asia 2017 - Asia’s Sports Industry Awards and Conference.

Entry submissions are open to participants from 47 Asian countries including Australia, China, Japan, India and more, and organisations from a wide range of sectors from within the sports industry are invited to submit their entries. These include private and government entities, sports marketing agencies including advertising, PR and media agencies active in sports, rights holders, event organisers, facility and venue owners, consumer brands, and hospitality and food and beverage brands to name just a few.

Entries can be submitted online until 8 September 2017 via www.spiaasia.com - 23 categories are up for grabs, including 17 international awards and six local awards for Thailand. The shortlisted finalists will be announced on 27 September 2017 and participants will then be subjected to a rigid judging process by a panel of leading industry experts. The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in Bangkok on 7 November 2017. 2017 marks the 3rd edition of SPIA Asia 2017 - Asia’s Sports Industry Awards and Conference, which has quickly become the leading sports industry awards in Asia. Endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in Thailand and organised by MMC Sportz, the event aims to bring together regional experts, agencies and government bodies to continue to develop and improve the overall sporting landscape in Asia.

In addition to the highly anticipated awards ceremony, SPIA Asia also features a two-day Sports Business Conference which brings together the key industry experts discussing trends and opportunities under the headline “The Business of Sports – Asia’s Sports Industry in the Fast Lane III”. The conference will provide valuable insights and learnings on topics such as: Asia’s sponsorship landscape; sport tourism, women in sport, global investment trends into Asian sports properties, the boom of e-sports and Xtreme sports, new technologies in sports and much more.
