The inaugural Caliente! Latin Music Festival Bangkok hits the streets of Bangkok next year in an explosion of colour, music and dance.
Bangkok is about to get its own Latin music festival next year as Caliente! Latin Music Festival Bangkok 2018 descends on the city for a weekend of dance and music. For two days in March, the square in front of CentralWorld will be transformed into a showcase of Latin culture featuring live acts, street food, a fashion show and of course popular Latin dances such as salsa, bachata, merengue, raggaeton and kizomba.
The programme is packed with events such as DJ sets and pool parties and incorporates some of Bangkok's most iconic places, including roof top bars and the Chao Phraya river. The festival will culminate in a rooftop pool party at the Swiss Mövenpick Hotel in Sukhumvit.
Caliente! Latin Music Festival Bangkok 2018 is the latest edition of Latin festivals organised by Caliente! Festival, a Swiss-based company, which has been organising Latin festivals for the last 20 years in places such as Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. The Zürich event is the biggest Latin festival in Europe, attracting around 300,000 people over three days.
