The popular Laguna Phuket Marathon returns to Phuket for the 13th time. More than 1,000 athletes have already signed up for this highly anticipated annual event, which is expected to draw participants and spectators in the thousands.
With more than 1,000 athletes already signed up for the 13th Laguna Phuket Marathon, the 2018 event is already looking to break all records. Held over three days in June, the race is sanctioned by the Association of International Marathons and Races and supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Participants compete across five distances, a 2.5km kids' run as well as 5km run, a 10.5km run, a 21km run and the full 42.195km marathon distance. This year’s event attracted more than 7,000 runners from over 40 countries and with a 50 percent increase in early bird sign-ups, the 2018 Laguna Phuket Marathon looks set for success.
