Billed as the highest-rated boxing TV show in Thailand, WTF Muay Thai Fight Series Thailand 2022 will see four weekends of mesmerising muay thai fights with world-renowned international fighters and local talent.
Rajadamnern Stadium, the home of muay thai in Thailand and a world-famous boxing institution, will welcome thousands of spectators for four weekends of muay thai bonanza. Organised by WFT Media, the four events, which will take place throughout the year will each feature six professional fights and be live streamed to millions of fans through the WFT Media app.
With a capacity of 8,000 spectators, Rajadamdern Stadium will set the stage for one of the largest muay thai events in the world, complete with a host of additional events, including the official welcome party and after party. The first event, which is scheduled for March 2022, has already confirmed Sor Somchai vs. Jit Muangnont, with more names being confirmed.
Fighters are categorised into the following categories to ensure an exciting and dynamic fight card: international stars headlining the card, Championship level fighters that comprise famous names from within Thailand, and Rajadamnern Stadium fighters who make for exciting fights and give exposure to up-and-coming talent.
WTF Muay Thai Fight Series pay tribute to the country’s national sport and one the its most successful exports. It is estimated that more than 1,000 muay thai gyms exist in Thailand with many more in operation overseas. The professional league is governed by The Professional Boxing Association of Thailand (PBAT) and sanctioned by The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT).
