JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s 2024 is Asia’s premier youth football competition, showcasing young talent from 400+ teams across 15 countries.
Teams from all over the world will come together in Singapore over the Easter weekend to find the winner and the club to be crowned Asia’s best.
The tournament is Singapore’s biggest youth football tournament and attracts some of the world’s prestigious professional clubs, including Arsenal, Barcelona, Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester United, Sporting Lisbon, Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia.
More than 400 teams will compete, including 14 professional under 16 teams, from 15 different countries. The organisers expect more than 60,000 spectators over the 4-day tournament, and more than one million views on social media channels.
The tournament attracts a large number of overseas spectators with the 2023 event having more than 50,000 international spectators, around 10,000 of whom had travelled specifically to Singapore to see the tournament.
One day before the tournament starts, the Coaching Convention will feature guest speakers, youth football experts and guests of honour. In 2023 the Coaching Convention included a talk with football legend Dwight Yorke and his son Harvey. Last year’s guests of honour included Teddy Sheringham, ex Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and England striker; Emile Heskey, ex Liverpool and England striker; Andy Cole, ex Manchester United and England striker; Michael Carrick, ex Manchester United and England midfielder; and Dwight Yorke, ex Manchester United and England striker.
