The Tomasz Drybala 2021/2022 Ultra-Run will cover over 10,000 miles, starting from Beijing, China, and finishing on Timor, Indonesia. Along the way, the endurance athlete will visit both cities and rural communities looking for ways to engage and inspire local populations to live an athletic lifestyle.

An ultra-endurance athlete and adventurer, writer, and motivational speaker, Tomasz Drybala has more than 23 years of experience in motivating people and helping them fulfil their potential. In 2021 and 2022, as part of his Athletic Lifestyle campaign, he is embarking on a 10,000 mile run from China to Indonesia, showcasing the benefits of an athletic lifestyle and inspiring people along the way.

The tour will cover China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia and is expected to reach thousands of people directly during the trip and indirectly through social media, TV, radio and other media coverage.

A video production crew, photographer, social media manager and copywriter will come along on the trip, documenting the journey and creating content for social media and other distribution channels. The journey will also require a variety of equipment such as kayaks, bikes, climbing equipment and a surf board. Journalists, bloggers and content creators will be invited for seven days to gain first-hand experience of the expedition.

The campaign is designed to engage people from all walks of life, from poorer, rural communities to corporate employees looking for team building experience and to expand their horizons. Tomasz plans to host a weekly live video feed giving people an opportunity to explore the possibilities of living an athletic lifestyle.

Alongside the journey Tomasz will also continue his schedule with Tomasz Drybala Academy, a coaching and mentoring programme he founded to help students at universities around the world find their passion and reach their full potential through a process of self-analysis, reflection, planning and action. The programme has talks scheduled in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia in 2021 and the UK and Poland in 2022.
