We are proud to announce that we have re-signed as Official Club Sponsor for international football club, Bangkok Cosmos Football Club, for the sixth consecutive year. The sponsorship ties in with our continued partnership with Football Studio, a Europe-based international football marketing agency.
Comprising an 11-a-side team, a 7-a-side team and a 7-a-side veterans team, Bangkok Cosmos Football Club was formed in 2001 to establish a multi-cultural club and give players from smaller footballing nations a chance to play at the highest amateur level in Thailand. Over the years the teams have entered and won multiple international football competitions, including Bangkok Masters Football Tournament, Bangkok Veterans League and Phuket International Soccer 7s.
The sponsorship deal is part of our continued involvement in and commitment to the growing football industry in Thailand and wider Asia. Since September 2014 we have been a partner of Europe-based Football Studio, an international football marketing agency with branches in the UK, Thailand and China. Football Studio specialises in football related services, including player and club representation, image management and PR, and sponsorship sourcing and management.
Football in Thailand and wider Asia has experienced accelerated growth in the past decade with Thai brands such as Chang Beer, King Power and Singha Beer all investing heavily in the industry. China has embarked on an ambitious goal of becoming a “world football superpower” by 2050, and FIFA recently welcomed China's Wanda Group as a top-tier partner.
