Founded in 1937 as Royal Thai Air Force, the club was re-named in 2010 as Air Force United FC. One of the most successful clubs in Thai football, Air Force United FC has for many years been a mainstay in the Thai Premier League and Division 1. The team won the Thai Premier League in 1997 and 1999 and the Thailand FA Cup in 1995, 1996 and 2001.
Air Force United FC has three clear objectives: to maintain a high level of football, to invest in the next generation of players and to run a successful football club amongst the best in the country. The team features a young and dynamic squad with players including Phattaraphon Gangsopa, Naphat Jaruphutpukdee and Phattaraphon Junsuwan.
Based in Pathum Thani, the club’s home stadium, Dhupatemiya, seats 25,000 spectators. The average number of home game fans has increased steadily over the past many seasons, a clear indication of the club’s strong and loyal fan base.
