SPONSOR named Official Regional Partner of Volleyball World and expands successful partnership across Southeast Asia. The Sponsorship Experts are proud to have once again brokered this important partnership for the third consecutive year.
Volleyball World and SPONSOR, Thailand’s top sports drink brand under the TCP Group, have announced an expansion of their successful partnership into a broader regional collaboration across Southeast Asia for 2025. This enhanced alliance will be activated through a series of major volleyball events taking place throughout the region.
Now entering its third year, the partnership has already made a strong impact. SPONSOR served as the title sponsor for the record-breaking 2024 Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Finals in Thailand, as well as the 2023 VNL Bangkok stage. The VNL 2024 in Thailand reached a remarkable cumulative live broadcast audience of 38.4 million viewers over 53 hours of coverage. The Thailand vs. China match alone, aired on Channel 7, drew an average live audience of 3.7 million – the highest sports viewership in Thailand for the year – peaking at 4.6 million viewers.
Building on this success, SPONSOR will extend its support to selected stages of the 2025 VNL across Southeast Asia and will play a key role in the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship 2025 – which will be hosted in Thailand for the first time in history.
To celebrate and activate this partnership, SPONSOR will launch a dynamic multi-channel marketing campaign featuring exciting fan engagement initiatives, including match ticket giveaways, exclusive merchandise, and immersive experiences designed to bring fans closer to the game. Under the theme “Cheer for Thailand with All Your Heart,” the campaign aims to unite volleyball enthusiasts in passionate support of their national team.
Oliver Clarke, Head of Sponsorship at Volleyball World, said: “We are delighted to extend our collaboration with SPONSOR, a brand that shares our ambition to grow volleyball and engage more fans throughout Southeast Asia. The engagement and passion from supporters in Thailand during the VNL over the past two years has been remarkable, and with SPONSOR’s continued support, we are confident that we can continue to build on this, developing different ways to engage both new and existing fans.”
“Since 2023, we have proudly supported the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in Thailand, offering fans a world-class sporting experience and the chance to cheer on the Thai national team. This year, we are excited to mark another major milestone, as we extend our partnership to the Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2025, coming to Thailand for the first time ever. This prestigious tournament will give Thai fans the opportunity to support their team at home while experiencing elite international competition,” added Ms. Mallika Lungnimitmas, Marketing Director of TCP Group.
Paul Poole, Founder, Managing Director and Chairman of Paul Poole (South East Asia) Co., Ltd. said: “We’re proud to have brokered this partnership for the third consecutive year and look forward to seeing SPONSOR and Volleyball World continue supporting and improving the sport in Thailand and beyond.”
