Wedge is a new fully indoor golf entertainment range aiming to make golf easily accessible for beginners and experienced players alike. Set in a 2,000 square meter temperature-controlled space in Bangkok’s Bang Na area, Wedge expects to attract thousands of people and inspire a new generation of golfers.
With its tagline “This isn’t your dad’s country club”, Wedge brings a new, innovative approach to the traditional golf club. The state-of-the-art golf entertainment range features 25 tech hitting bays, two VIP suites, a dedicated events space, a sports bar and restaurant, a retail store and fitting studio, a teaching academy and a mini putting course.
Wedge aims to become more than just a brand or a venue. The founders are driven by a mission to make golf more inclusive and break with the notion that golf is played by middle-aged men in expensive country clubs.
Visitors to Wedge will experience a modern and inclusive approach that combines golf with fun and entertainment. The hitting bays are fitted with a Full Swing Kit Launch Monitor, located at the bar counter behind the golfer, which tracks the golf ball in flight using proprietary radar technology. The data is then fed into the industry-leading InRange software program featuring real-to-life graphics and multiple gaming options. The bays are built so that six people can play together while also ordering food and drinks to the bay via a QR code.
Wedge’s core audience is driven by meaningful experiences, always seeking something new and exploring new ways to challenge themselves. They don’t necessarily wish to spend hours every Saturday morning at the golf course practicing their swing, but rather see golf as a way of socialising and trying new things with like-minded people.
