Hundreds of sports industry professionals will descend on Manila, Philippines on 2-3 December for the fifth edition of SPIA Asia - Asia’s Sports Industry Awards & Conference.
SPIA Asia 2019 will be featured as one of the official activities of the 19th SEA Games which is being held in Manila during the same time.
SPIA Asia 2019 - Asia’s Sports Industry Awards & Conference, sanctioned by the 19th SEA Games Organising Committee and presented by the Tourism Promotions Board in the Philippines, has now established itself as the premier 2-days sports business conference in Asia.
Six hundred delegates and 60 speakers will attend the conference which will discuss a host of topics around the business of sports, innovations in venues and technology, sports tourism,and inclusion and integrity. There will also be a range of delegate events such as networking functions, attendance at the SEA Games opening ceremony, venue tours, CSR football clinic, F1 simulator competition, celebrity meet and greet, "Wall of Fame" trophy display, charity auction, live entertainment and much more. The SPIA Asia Awards have also become the official currency for recognising and celebrating excellency in Asia. Judged by 35 independent industry experts, each year the event receives over 450 submissions from all 47 Asian countries for the 25 prestigious award categories.
SPIA Asia 2019 for the first time will feature the Best Sportsman, Best Sportswoman and Best Sports Team of the Year awards with the winners expected to attend the black-tie awards gala ceremony. Submissions can be submitted through www.spiaasia.com from 1 July 2019 onwards.
