Offering a revolutionary new triathlon concept, TRI-Factor Series makes it possible for athletes in various disciplines to complete a triathlon.

Now it is possible to complete a triathlon without mastering all three disciplines, i.e. swimming, cycling and running. How so? With a new 4-step concept known as the TRI-Factor Series, organisers Orange Room Pte Ltd. wants athletes in various disciplines to be able to complete a triathlon.

A progressive race for swimmers, cyclists, runners and triathletes, TRI-Factor Series is different in that it allows the athletes to compete throughout the year, completing one discipline at a time. The 4-leg series kicks off with a mass swimming event (TRI-Factor Swim), followed by a mass cycling event (TRI-Factor Bike), a mass run (TRI-Factor Run) and ending in a finale, the TRI-Factor Triathlon. During the various races, participants gather points and the participant with the most TRI-Factor points is crowned champion of the TRI-Factor Series. Held for the first time in 2009, Tri-Factor Series has quickly become the fastest growing triathlon community with more than 11,000 participants in Asia.

Triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and Asia is no exception. Catering to both amateurs and professionals, youth, corporations, sports clubs and everything in between, TRI-Factor Series provides a good platform for people wanting to stay fit, challenge themselves and give the popular sport a try. To support athletes even further, the organisers are currently working on a new training platform that helps participants train and prepare for the event, without having to rely on the schedules of established clubs.

The Series are organised by Orange Room Pte Ltd., which specialises in professional sporting events across Asia Pacific. Made up of a group of diverse sporting enthusiasts with a common passion for sports, the company has developed and commercialised a number of event concepts throughout the region.
