Just a short ride from Bangkok sits the Nakhonchaisri Motor Sports Complex, known as Thailand Circuit. The Circuit was established in 1989 to promote motor sports in the Kingdom, and it remains Thailand's premier venue for racing competitions and motor shows.
Conveniently located just a short drive from Bangkok, Thailand Circuit is Thailand's premier motor sports venue, regularly hosting both local and international events. 12-15 metres wide and 2.5 kilometres long, the track features 13 turns including two chicane turns and is certified according to Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) standards for road racing circuits.
In addition to the main circuit, Nakhonchaisri Motor Sports Complex also features the FIM Motorcross World Champion Track where the annual ThaiMXGP is held. Part of the world MXGP Tour, the event attracts riders from all over the world and high numbers of spectators who enjoy an action-packed day. The event is held under the auspices of Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of Thailand (FMSCT).
Thailand Circuit is also the home turf of Road Racing Motorsport Club (R2M) in association with Motorcycle Sports Association of Thailand (MSAT) and FMSCT. The Club consists of amateur and professional racers who aim to promote motor sports in Thailand. It regularly hosts classes to foster tomorrow's talent.
